Responsibilities
Tasks
- Participate as a member of a research or development team in the design and development of experimental, industrial or medical equipment, instrumentation and procedures
- Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards
- Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
- Develop policies, standards and guidelines
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Assist in design, development and testing
- Compile data, statistics and other information
- Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
