Responsibilities

Tasks

• Pour molten metal into moulds to produce metal castings
• Set up and operate casting machines to cast ferrous or non ferrous metal products
• Operate furnaces used to melt metals for moulding and casting
• Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
• Monitor quality and production levels
• Inspect finished and pre-finished products
• Feed and unload processing machines
• Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products
• Adjusting machinery and equipment to proper settings
