Responsibilities
Tasks
- Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance
- Calculate cost of travel and accommodations
- Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellation
- Recommend suitable products
- Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities
- Manage difficult situations with customers
- Perform general office duties
- Sell travel products and travel insurance
- Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events
- Develop contact lists
- Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system
- Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs
