Responsibilities

Tasks

• Correct translated work using reference material, such as dictionaries and computer software to ensure translation accuracy
• Revise translated material to ensure that translations retain the meaning, feeling and content of the original material
• Conduct terminological research on a given subject or in response to inquiries
• Identify the terminology used in a field of activity
• Maintain the content, context and style of the original material
• Perform quality control and proofreading
• Translate a variety of written material
• Assist in analysis of data and preparation of reports
