Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies
  • Prepare funding applications
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses.
  • Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place
  • Establish policies and procedures for assessing credit and loan applications
  • Complete credit and loan documentation
  • Collect and analyze financial records of a business, such as financial statements, budgets, projections and sales data
  • Prepare reports
  • Develop financial plans for clients
  • Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit and ability to repay loan
