Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist clients on and off amusement park rides and secure and release safety belts and bars
- Operate ski lifts
- Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment
- Schedule events, programs and activities
- Determine snow quality
- Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage
- Set up and operate air/water snow gun
- Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds
- Monitor snow making operation
- Assist patrons on and off rides
- Secure and release safety belts and bars
- Shut down snow making plant
- Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations
- Operate snowmobiles
- Operate all-terrain vehicles (ATV)
- Operate 4-wheel drive vehicles
- Check motor room equipment, gear boxes, carriage and tension systems for safe operation
- Assist clients on and off ski lifts
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Provide customer service
