Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Administer evaluative tests
  • Assess patients' physical abilities
  • Examine the patient
  • Make decisions on tests and procedures
  • Supervise technical and support staff
  • Plan physiotherapy programs
  • Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports
  • Confer with other health professionals
  • Conduct research in physiotherapy
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
